Working on building up my homelab

I guess we will say this is my first REAL post. I’ve been working hard all weekend on setting up this new blog and reworking my homelab. I’ve learned a lot of stuff so far. The blog is running on some web-hosting environment virtual machines based on the network. It’s been a lot.

Purpose

I’m currently learning Markdown to be able to make these posts and put them up onto the blog. The content server is Hugo. It seems to be the easiest to learn right now. Maybe I will go onto something bigger later as I learn more.

Setup

The NAS Server
Some virtual machines
UNIX operating systems

Most of the set up and learning has come from using ChatGPT, which has been a great resource in helping me increase my knowledge.

Conclusion

There will be a ton more learning to come, but for now, I want to get the hang of making posts here and serving them up on the frontend.
